The new 2015 Honda Fit was unveiled at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. 2015 Fit will come on the U.S. market in the spring of 2014 fully redesigned. Roomier interior, eye-catching exterior, better performance with better fuel efficiency is what we will get in few months.

2015 Fit design

The 2015 Honda Fit comes with smooth and more aggressive exterior style. With sporty look comes new bolder grille and LED headlights design. Interior gadgets include Bluetooth, rearview camera, push-button start, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, blind spot detection, a 7-inch display and leather trimmed seating as an option.

Compared to the 2014 Honda Fit, the new 2015 Honda Fit is 1.6 in shorter and 0.3 in. wider with 1.2 in longer wheelbase which brings improved handling and maneuverability. Also, new Fit increased in passenger volume in 4.9 cu ft and 4.8 in. in rear legroom.

Under the hood of the new Honda Fit

New direct-injected 1.5-liter engine will be under the hood of the new Honda car. It generates 130-BHP and 114 lb-ft of torque which is increase of 13-hp and 8 lb-ft over the previous model. This engine is paired with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and it has paddle shifters as an option. This powertrains offers to Honda Fit a great acceleration and passing performance and is expected to have class-leading EPA-estimated fuel ratings of 33/41/36 (city/highway/combined).

2015 Honda Fit Release date and Price

The 2015 model of Honda Fit is going to be built at Honda`s new assembly plant in Celaya, Mexico. The mass production of the Fit will begin next month, with plant`s capacity of 200,000 cars.
Honda will announce price details when the 2015 Fit reaches showrooms this spring.

“We’re pretty consistent with small incremental increases in our pricing even with all-new models,” says Chris Naughton, spokesperson for Honda.
